Technical Course 2019 Stratford

On 27th October 2019, T-UK held its second Technical Course of the year in Stratford Upon Avon.

The course was presented by Master John Archer and Master Ian Ridley and was attended by T-UK Leeds students Rebecca Dean and Catherine Duff.

The day started off with a brief warm up by Master Ridley and the students were taken through all coloured belt pattern detail sequentially

The initial concentration was on basic movement of Taekwon-Do and then all patterns were performed and discussed in great detail with many questions being asked and explained.

When the pattern section has been completed, the course moved on to discuss all elements of technical kicking and the Masters explained the science and body mechanics behind all kick.

To finish the day the students were taken through 1, 2 and 3-step sparring with all the fixed sequences being explained and also time to allow the students to try free style techniques.

The input from all students was really pleasing and of course it was a great opportunity to train with other members of our association.

I think everyone enjoyed the day and this course is one of the favourite for the Masters to teach.
