Student of the year 2019

Thursday December 19th was our final training session at T-UK.

As well as having a fun session to finish off the year, it is customary to present our student of the year award.

Last year’s ppresentation was quite straight forward with most seniors giving me the same name. 2019 however was different. This one was close. I had three student in the running for the award.

I the end, the student of the year 2019 was presented to Oleksandr Horishnyak.

Oleks has supported the club really well tis year, entering all tounaments, atttending semnars and also helping out at the Farsley Festival, which was pivitol for the club in terms of growth.

Oleks has also trained more regularly than any other student and is always very supportiing to the younger guys.

In the end, this proved to be a popular decision and we look forward to Oleks’ progression in 2020
