T-UK Leeds Grading
On 5th December 2024 T-UK Leeds held their final grading of the year.
24 students in total graded and the standard was very pleasing.
The lower grade students lined up at the front and the the test for each grade was assessed with those students in question being at the front and in full view.
As always, each session included technical movement, pattern, fixed sparring, self defense and Korean terminology with some of the older students also having to break.
The technical movements and patterns were really pleasing as was the sparring elements etc. I doo feel however some student need to brush up on Korean terminology. Korean terminology is important as it shows respect to the art and also means a student can train anywhere in the world if the Korean moves are understood.
All in all though it was a successful test and some good results were obtained.
Thanks to Emma and Adam for their assistance on the day and thanks to the parents who always support.
Finally Master Archer could not make the test as he had just had a hip replacement operation and we all send our thoughts and wish him a speedy recovery.
